Until the Ant-man movie gets made, they can't actually use the best Avengers villain, sadly. Kang would be really cool though.
And fucking right cosmic heroes. Marvel cosmic is amazing. And its Adam Warlock, Adam Strange is DC.

There's no reason Thanos can't be an Avengers villain, though. It wouldn't be the first time these movies have changed stuff about the villains. Like having Ivan Vanko as Whiplash instead of Crimson Dynamo.
