[sigh] Listen, I'm as bummed about Fighting Is Magic being cancelled as anyone else, but come on.
Hasbro owns the MLP IP. The team were using the IP without Hasbro's permission. HOW is them asking them to stop as unreasonable as everyone makes it out to be?

Yeah I'm surprised it hasn't already happened, I just hope a way is found for them to continue and finish the game, even if they can't use official characters.

Yeah. Now, if it was something like the Streets of Rage fan remakes, where they HAD permission from the original creators to do it, and then the company waited until it was complete to step in and say "lulz no," THEN I could understand the outrage.

I think it's really more disappointment than outrage. Then again, Hasbro didn't step in until quite a long time after development began, so I guess a lot of fans thought Mane6 had actually got away with it.

Not a bad finale, I think. Decent songs, the alicorn transformation/coronation was handled well. Roll on season 4. Speaking of which, apparently the first two episodes could be considered a 3-parter with the season 3 finale. Not sure how that works, but whatever. https://twitter.com/MMeghanMcCarthy/status/302576012804366336Also, I stumbled onto this. It made me chuckle.

Indeed...
I wouldn't mind the Equestria Girls spin-off if it weren't for the fact that the human Mane 6 look god-awful.

For starters it would help if they weren't their pony colours. But yeah, for now I'm treating it as a rumour and nothing more.

I couldn't help but think they look like a MLP-themed Bratz knock-off.
Which, knowing Hasbro, probably isn't too far from the truth.
