Cara: Alright, so, you're the leader of the Dark Lead, yes? Can you specify what it is? Are you mercenaries, bounty hunters, treasure seekers? A traveling circus group? X3

David: Well... I call us mercenaries, but only in the sense that we're essentially fighters-for-hire. If the price is right, then we'll take almost any job, and sometimes even if it's not.

Dorian: Thank you. Going off the last thing you said, could you give an example of job where the price wasn't right but decided to take it anyway?

David: Well, here's the first one that springs to mind. On a trip to Konoha, I was checking out the available, freelance missions, when this little kid, maybe about five or six, walked in. His dad had gotten stuck in a cave, and he needed help. He even brought his little piggy bank with him, but in it was only four of five bucks. The mission centre turned him away, because he couldn't afford to pay for the mission.

David: That's right. After I punched the **** who turned the kid away, I took the job. For free.

David: [chuckles bashfully, scratching the back of his head] We got the kid's dad out pretty easily; he had a broken leg, but nothing too serious, and he was back on his feet in a couple of weeks.
