Pretty much the same as a regular jump, except Mario folds himself up into a spring first to jump higher.

I never actually finished TTYD myself... ^_^;; I started it right when Skyward Sword came out, and... well, yeah, that game sorta absorbed me. :p

But... if our leaders actually reflected the wants of the people... then we'd be a democracy, and that's just gross.
Stalin was that **** guy who pops the ball during a basketball game and ruins it for everyone.

I never finished either... my game glitches and crashes right before the final boss battle. >_<

I've only ever finished it once.
That reminds me, I also need to finish Super Paper Mario...

I've played the first one like nine or ten times now, the rest only once with some unfinished subsequent playthroughs.
First still remains my greatest love.

Floyd is the devil.
I SERIOUSLY DREAMT OF FLOYD BEING A KILLER CYBORG WHO RAN 10 TIMES FASTER THAN ANY NORMAL HUMAN, AND THEN KILLED MM, TURNED FEMALE, WENT AFTER ME, AND I DROPPED FROM THE SKYSCRAPER! IT HURTED, BUT I AWAKE CALMLY, THINKING I WOULDN'T SEE YOU AGAIN.

Never played the first, though I am thinking of getting it either for the N64 or VC... :3 You guys like it better than TTYD?

I do. TTYD is probably better overall but there's something about the first one that I just adore. I mean, I love all of them, but the first one feels the most special to me. There's a sort of elegant simplicity to it that I really dig.

I can't really say. It's been way too long since I last played TTYD to make a proper comparison.
I think the first game is easier, though.

It's easier if you know what you're doing. I remember it having several difficult parts in my first playthrough, but when I played through it recently I beat it in one day since I already knew everything.
Anyway, I definitely prefer it to the second, though I also feel TTYD was a very worthy sequel.

Well, I got to Bowser's Castle in one day and took a break, then never bothered going back to it. And that wasn't because I ran out of time or was having dificulty; I was just getting bored. I probably could have kept going.
Then again, regarding the difficulties on my first playthrough, I was quite young when it came out...

You're gonna carry that weight.

I always preferred TTYD. Did everything there was to do in that game, down to collecting every last star piece.
Plus, let's be honest: Stylish Commands.
