So I haven't seen Batman Begins or The Dark Knight, but somehow my girlfriend convinced me to go see this.
I hated it.
Now don't get me wrong. I think it was a good movie.
I just didn't like it.
It was too different from the Batman I know and love, too different from what I want out of a Batman movie.
I was a good movie. Writing was decent enough and all the visuals were cool.
I just hated it.
I know you don't like the TDK Joker, but personally I'd recommend at least giving Batman Begins a go sometime. It works as a standalone film and it feels the most like a traditional Batman story. To me, at least. The other two are good movies, but I think BB is my favourite.
