My Curse
They tremble in fear yet I cannot hear,
Their cries of horror and anguish.
My fangs are fierce and easily pierce.
My victim's flesh is as weak as a fish.

Once more they die. Once more I cry.
Why can't I stop my bloodlust?
Vampiric taste I cannot satiate,
Is killing the weak an absolute must?

If they don't die, they're no better than I.
Cursed to be among my kind.
Once more others die. Once more we must cry.
My mind, my mind, I'm losing my mind!

We burn in the sun, it's really not fun.
Our numbers grow and grow.
Christ. He burns us like we were worms.
Yet at night our powers grow.

We sneak and lurk like a hunter at work.
Our prey we know must die.
We bite and drink as if they were a sink.
And let their bodies lie.

My curse is absolutely worse,
Than anything you could imagine.
I can never find peace, nor can I release.
Once more night comes... I must hunt therein.
