Watch them make the beast live just to contradict what everyone is predicting.

Or, it could be some sort of fib to lure you in a false sense of security and pessimism, and they both end up living in the end! You never know, SPRINGIESE!

Can't wait for this game.  Guessing "The Last Guardian" is actually going to be the boy, not the beast.  The beast needs a name.  I'm calling him Ruffles.

That's not right. Ruffles have ridges.

That is true, but did you know that a group of monkeys is called a troop?

I've since played ICO and I just wanted to say

At first I was like "**** this game, I hated Ico."

Then I played SotC. It rocked because I had no urge to play it whatsoever, and I didn't look at Gamefaqs for it beforehand.

Now...this game feeds me gigglebiscuits and chucklebacon. My heart is warm. I welcome it to my collection, and I'm looking forward to it.

I agree with 911 and GSD. Ico was bleh and SotC was good but not great for me, and this is looking like it will follow the sam path as SotC for me.

FUUUUCK Y'ALL

ICO was amazing. I thought the first 3/4 or 4/5 of the game was nice, atmospheric puzzle platforming. I appreciated the mystery surrounding everything. You really never know more than Ico does. I wasn't underwhelmed, but the game was mostly quiet and methodical. A slow burn.

But holy shit at the final act. Everything from Yorda catching Ico on the bridge until the very last word Yorda speaks on the beach had me at the edge of seat. Such a refreshing take on storytelling in a game. I haven't felt so interested in seeing what happened next in a game in a long, long time. I was genuinely emotionally invested.

Not my kind of game, although I have admittedly not played the game in years and not much at that. I can't see my current stylings being very welcome to it though.

Floyd is the devil.
I SERIOUSLY DREAMT OF FLOYD BEING A KILLER CYBORG WHO RAN 10 TIMES FASTER THAN ANY NORMAL HUMAN, AND THEN KILLED MM, TURNED FEMALE, WENT AFTER ME, AND I DROPPED FROM THE SKYSCRAPER! IT HURTED, BUT I AWAKE CALMLY, THINKING I WOULDN'T SEE YOU AGAIN.
