So I haven't seen much of it 8eyond the one trailer, 8ut I'm kind of excited for this game. It looks like it'll 8e fun.
The characters having unique a8ilities like in Super Mario 8ros 2 is a gr8 feature for them to 8ring 8ack, not to mention it's a8out time we got a playa8le Peach again.
Also, the Cat Suit is super adora8le.
Anyone else looking forward to this?

Super Mario Bros 2 is my favorite of the NES games so I'm pretty stoked. Plus 3D Land was boss as hell.

Floyd is the devil.
I SERIOUSLY DREAMT OF FLOYD BEING A KILLER CYBORG WHO RAN 10 TIMES FASTER THAN ANY NORMAL HUMAN, AND THEN KILLED MM, TURNED FEMALE, WENT AFTER ME, AND I DROPPED FROM THE SKYSCRAPER! IT HURTED, BUT I AWAKE CALMLY, THINKING I WOULDN'T SEE YOU AGAIN.

I'm sure this will be great, but to be honest it was probably my main disappointment for Nintendo's E3 showing. Though that's primarily because after so many level-based Mario games recently (the NSMB series and Mario 3D Land), I was hoping for a return for the less linear approach seen in SM64, Sunshine and, to an admittedly lesser extent, Galaxy/2. I just kind of miss having a hub world and visiting open levels that I can explore at my leisure, and collecting stars/shines instead of just heading for flagpoles. I enjoyed 3D Land, and I'm sure I'll enjoy this too, but both games just seemless like proper 3D Mario games and more like 2D Mario games trying to masquerade as 3D ones.

While I do want a 64/Sunshine like 3d Mario, I have to admit that this looks like it will be a blast to play, and from what I have heard, it totally is. :3 Love SMB2, and this feels like an extension of that. Been wanting playable Peach for a while now.
And yeah, kitties! X3

But... if our leaders actually reflected the wants of the people... then we'd be a democracy, and that's just gross.
Stalin was that **** guy who pops the ball during a basketball game and ruins it for everyone.

I'm sure they'll make a proper 3D Mario sooner or later, 8ut for now, I'm rather excited a8out this. I liked 3D Land quite a 8it, so I don't mind giving the gameplay style a go on the Wii U.
Among other things, I think this is the first time Peach has ever 8een playa8le in a game with powerups. Cat Suit Peach is adora8le, and I think I've seen a few screenshots of Fire Peach too. That alone makes me happy for this game.

The only real "problem" is that it's not what I was expecting. When you hear that Nintendo's developing the next 3D Mario game and it'll be shown at E3, you expect the next SM64/Sunshine/Galaxy. I'm only disappointed because I got my hopes up.
I do like the cat suit, though, and it's good to see 3D multiplayer. Even though I don't actually know anyone in real life who'd want to play except occasionally my sister. So yeah, hoping for online.

There better be online. :/ I think the game looks SUPER fun, but it would really be brought down by such limited multiplayer. And I personally really like local multiplayer; best kind. But in the real world, it's not always so easy to get friends together in a single place. :/
So yeah, Ninty, you bettah puts it in. >:3

I prefer local too. I remember in high school we used to have a great time on Mario Kart DS. I rarely won, but still.

I think Nintendo made a comment somewhere that there's no online multiplayer........I just don't remem8er where I read it.
8ecause really, these kinds of games are the most fun when it's local multiplayer. Online just wouldn't feel the same.

Well yeah, but for those of us without the option of local...

Options are NEVER a bad thing. :/ The ol' gang I used to play classics like Mario party, Mario kart, and Smash Bros. with has since moved to various different states. Playing local is better, but being able to play at all is better than nothing. Plus, not everyone has real life friends.
