Floyd is the devil.
I SERIOUSLY DREAMT OF FLOYD BEING A KILLER CYBORG WHO RAN 10 TIMES FASTER THAN ANY NORMAL HUMAN, AND THEN KILLED MM, TURNED FEMALE, WENT AFTER ME, AND I DROPPED FROM THE SKYSCRAPER! IT HURTED, BUT I AWAKE CALMLY, THINKING I WOULDN'T SEE YOU AGAIN.

I think the proof that you're overleveled is that you keep getting summoned to fight a different boss than the one you put a summon sign down for

Dancer instead of Vordt? Or is there even another set that's even possible for?

Yeah, Dancer. It's funny because my setup is horribly inadequate for taking on the Dancer, I get owned in seconds while doing little damage.

Yeah, Dancer. It's funny because my setup is horribly inadequate for taking on the Dancer, I get owned in seconds while doing little damage. She's really not meant to be taken on that early. Honestly, I have no idea why hosts go down to all the Vordt summons to fish up someone to help with her, that generally just puts the host at a disadvantage.

Have they patched out the Sword Master exploit yet?

Also this is the first game I've really tried to use the co-op stuff, and it makes me regret not doing it in other games, because it's a blast, and useful too

Multiplayer in Souls games, at least co-op stuff, is pretty underappreciated I'd say. But maybe not, given that it's what keeps some people playing the games for years and years.

Eh, a lot of people get exposure to these games by seeing silly multiplayer videos or excerpts. I have real life friends who I explicitly know don't care about these games regularly send me silly troll-y PvP videos anyway, at any rate.
Back in my underclassman days, when Dark Souls 1 had been out for long enough that you didn't just get an unrelenting stream of co-op sessions if you put a sign down in Anor Londo, I used to use co-op as a means to pace studying and homework. On average, about 5 minutes would elapse between sessions, and most sessions would take 5 minutes as well. During co-op, I'd have time to mull over whatever problem I had last challenged before the session began. It was actually quite an effective strategy that got some pretty good results, but I could never replicate it in the other two games.
