Been playing Bravely Default on and off currently as well. I enjoy it a lot, but can't seem to find time to play it. Mostly because whenever I'm home I'm on the computer or playing Demon's Souls...

Anyway, I just got the knight asterisk thing, so I'm not very far at all. The fight with that boss was super obnoxious though. My black mage ran out of MP right at the beginning of the fight, against a guy who's got high physical defense... It took a while, but I finally chipped him down to nothing. Edea is now a knight.

this game has some... issues

it's fun, but it is entirely possible to defeat several of the bosses by sitting out of their sight range and pelting them with arrows while they stand there like morons

next playthrough i'll actually try
