It might help to not lock on during the second phase of his fight. I think that's generally what I do.

Probably Kalameet or Artorias. Both of those had similar arcs where I kept trying and kept trying and kept getting wrecked, and then something flipped and I was able to beat them. I think Kalameet has an edge because the turnaround was a lot quicker with him. Indescribable feeling, really, just that moment you know you've got them.

I'll give an honorable mention to False King Alant, too. Really intense fight, really rewarding. He's just got the runback that's kind of a blight on his encounter.

I got Logarius to half health a couple of times, but at Lv. 63 I'm probably a bit outmatched. I was able to rescue my souls at least by using a Bold Hunter's Mark (Nice to know you can use those mid boss fight, in situations like this). I need to do a better job adapting to the pace of the second half of the fight, and I really killed myself a few times trying to get around him to stop that sword storm attack. Should have just ate the damage and focused on him.

I'll be back for him.

I really want to like this area because of the great ones and all, but the respawning enemies are a huge pain in the ass. Really glad to have made it to a lantern.

Also I know it's not how these games work, but just once I wish there was an armor set that both looked cool and was objectively better than the set I've been wearing.

That place is really hard and felt like a major difficulty spike in the game. The best option is to just frantically run past everything until you see the path for where you need to go, but I guess you already got to the lantern.

Also, I just go with fashionborne/souls and neglect the armor's stats. Cainhurst set is the best looking armor in the game in my opinion. What are you wearing right now?

And yeah, Bloody Crow is a dick, but not too hard to cheese.

Well I made it to the upper chapel lantern. Outside there's a place with dogs, an Alan Brickman, and a guy with a rifle (and god damn those really hurt now). There might be a pitchfork guy, too. Running past seems like a decent strategy.

I just put the Crowhunter set on after wearing the box art set for most of the game.

i fucking hated that place

Also that. The benefits usually seem almost negligible at this point. My buddy even flat out told me all the armor in Bloodborne is basically indistinguishable so just pick what you like when I first started.

Alan Brickman

FUCKING

i won't take credit for this but it's what i know them as now

And yeah I'm kinda feeling the same way. Like Paarl seemed an exception because Henryk's set had much higher bolt resistance than other things, but I'm heavily uncertain about if 10 points of extra Arcane defense would really save my life against Logarius. Much better to not get hit.
