Getting near the end of Horizon, pretty sure. Cool stuff is happening.

Soloqueue gave me a chance to try something different. Some of my deep voice uninterrupted for you, maniac-chan.

Finished them and got the Platinum trophy no less (though I'm sitting at 95.5% in game completion). I'll note again that the robot dinosaurs brought me to the game, but there's a lot more to it. Would recommend to anyone who likes open world games but thinks they need to be made with more restraint and thought. Things have taken something of a sour turn in Overwatch. My one friend who kind of anchors the rest of our group has left the rest of us in the dust. He made Masters a few weeks ago and has since decided he should go for Grand Masters, too. The trouble being that once you hit Masters, you can't group with anyone who isn't within 500 of your skill rating. For a while this wasn't a huge deal because he and I and a couple of other friends could still go in. I hover between 3100 and 3200 typically, and when we queue'd together, we'd go up and down within the same window. But then he went and partnered with this Pharah player we know who has like a 73% win rate, and that put him up in the 3700s, past where any of the rest of us can play with him. Meanwhile, another friend is stuck down in ELO hell at like 2600-2700, and another one teeters on the brink at like 3000. I could play with both of them... but I'm reluctant to do so because our combined skill rating might match us with teammates who aren't reliable. And losing wouldn't get me any closer to playing with our anchor again. It all sucks because we went into the season saying it wasn't about the climb. It was about "getting competitive points" to save up for golden guns. The rank didn't matter, it was really just about playing together and keeping competitive chill and fun. Well my one friend, the anchor, got his golden staff for Mercy. And then a funny thing happened. He immediately started talking about what his next golden gun would be. But he wasn't sure which character to get it for. Almost as though it wasn't really about getting a golden gun at all. Now with this push for Grand Masters, he's moving in the opposite direction of getting the band back together. He keeps saying he's "done" once he gets there, but I don't really know what that means. It's not actually in his character to de-rank by throwing games, and it's harder to do that than you might think anyway. There's still quickplay in the end, but I dunno. It's kind of not the same after having as much fun in comp. This tends to happen to me, too, where I run into problems with friends who have unlimited free time compared to my more restricted schedule at work. As a final note, I placed in low gold on PC Overwatch. Would like to see if I could possibly get to platinum there.

i too understand this, although getting random kof matches probably isn't as complex as keeping a team organized for something

Floyd is the devil.
I SERIOUSLY DREAMT OF FLOYD BEING A KILLER CYBORG WHO RAN 10 TIMES FASTER THAN ANY NORMAL HUMAN, AND THEN KILLED MM, TURNED FEMALE, WENT AFTER ME, AND I DROPPED FROM THE SKYSCRAPER! IT HURTED, BUT I AWAKE CALMLY, THINKING I WOULDN'T SEE YOU AGAIN.
*no gold, just us*

Enjoying the Uprising mode in OW a lot. Takes all the grind out of trying to get event boxes, both by racking up the arcade wins and just through normal level up.
I kinda really want the Blackwatch McCree skin even though I never play him, but I also look at my 5000~ currency and know I need to just save it to buy Zarya skins in the next event.

Have you played comp sinxe the patch? There's some weird bugs going on.
I lost a game on Anubis even though a teammate and I were standing on the point. There was no "contesting", the tick just instantly capped. I can't win for losing.

I saw something like that on reddit where the match ended even though they still had a full bar of overtime. I'd wager it has something to do with the new assault scoring system, although they tested that for so many weeks it's a wonder they didn't catch it. Mei is also broken currently. Her primary fire and ult no longer slow people down. Hopefully the fixes are coming in hot. They don't usually let gamebreaking stuff like this slip through. Did not know that about Mei. That's awful but hilarious at the same time.
I really hope none of the teams experience that instant cap BS for the Overwatch monthly melee tomorrow
