I beat Prey.
The combat actually deescalates very rapidly after the part I was talking about, and there's one crazy moment in the leadup to the end that I thought was cool.
As for the ending itself, I can see why some people wouldn't like it, but I found it... liberating. And fitting.
Issues aside, I'd say it was worthwhile, and I could see myself playing it again at some unknown point in the future.

Started Doom. This could be more of an issue with my PC, but the load times seem really long? So when I had three really stupid deaths in the second level, that kinda took me out of it a bit.
But aside from that it's great.

I beat Doom. The last boss was the only one that managed to kill me, but only once. Very fun game. Probably one I would jump back into to try and find more secrets and stuff.
In the meantime, I've downloaded Hollow Knight and Nier: Automata. Started Hollow Knight tonight, and it's adorable. Might try to split time between those games, though rather than playing one and then the other.

Floyd is the devil.
I SERIOUSLY DREAMT OF FLOYD BEING A KILLER CYBORG WHO RAN 10 TIMES FASTER THAN ANY NORMAL HUMAN, AND THEN KILLED MM, TURNED FEMALE, WENT AFTER ME, AND I DROPPED FROM THE SKYSCRAPER! IT HURTED, BUT I AWAKE CALMLY, THINKING I WOULDN'T SEE YOU AGAIN.

I'm in the forest zone currently. I'm kinda just doing a mix of story and side quests based on what's convenient. Fast travel has helped a lot. Also I got Ending K tonight. Oh and this exceptionally awkward moment happened tonight: https://steamuserimages-a.akamaihd.net/ugc/852720134087365689/C432819A81ED2CBE159851FE99C0613A68D71B23/(it's hard to see, but an android I revived is just going ham on this dude's pet boar in the background)
