actually...that isn't ironic...because exactly what he expected to happen did happen the kind of irony that she is TRYING to convey...is situational irony...where the opposite of what you expect happens... |

The only thing ironic about the song Ironic is that it's sung by a woman who doesn't know what irony is.
I've seen Ed Byrne's standup comedy act on her. Is that what the link is?
