OoT isn't as good as people say it is. I mean even TWILIGHT PRINCESS wasn't to die for. Or ANY Zelda game for that matter.

Agreed. Hype can kill a game. People end up expecting so much and are let down. So you're going to find people saying Brawl sucks because it doesn't have 200 characters. |

But if it wasn't for hype gmaes like OOT and TP would be regarded as great games instead of people saying it's crap because it didn't meet their outlandish expectations. |

I can guareentee you if Halo had only come on the PC or didn't have online, no one would care about it at all. |

Hype worked kinda backwardly for that game. It was okay but people made it out to be the second coming of Christ.
If you directly compare that game to newer stuff and the really good 16/8 bit stuff, it looks like crap. If you want to be a truly legendary game, it has to be just as good now as when it was released.

Good game, hardly anyone talked about it in the beginning. |
