(Well, she doesn't know anything, and neither do I. Naru's just using movie logic, because the hero's mentor/girlfriend/mom/aunt/person he cares about will always be kidnapped, or killed. Always)

*grins* Thanks Gar. Don't worry....once the other dojo goers see me...everyone will be ready. I'll lead them into battle with the little guys. You take care of the head honcho. This is your fight. So, show them what you're made of!

...Gar....I believe in you. I don't know if that counts for much in your book...but if you ever have doubts...then don't believe in yourself. Believe in me, who believe in you.
*laughs, then jumps off the roof of the dojo and heads back inside*

(A 4chan way of saying over the top. Technically it means manly, but it's used for over the top people.)

(Don't know what it originated from though. I've just heard it used when people go over the top.)

( GAR. A fad among anime fandom. Started with the series Fate/stay night. After a particular episode where the character Archer did something incredibly manly and epic, a fan created a thread where they attempted to claim they were "Gay for Archer". However, a typo resulted in the thread stating they were "Gar for Archer." Fans found this lulzy, and immediately picked up on it. Overtime, it became an adjective to describe any manly, hot-blooded, and over-the-top character. )

Okay, this is officially beyond ridiculous and well into the territory of “What the ****!?”. Due to various long absences (you know who you are… >_>), my own laziness at times, and the fact that this is now nearly 2 years old (I think… *sweatdrop*), I’ve officially given up on finishing this properly. Instead, I’ll just post a summary of how this story arc would end. - Gar gets an invitation for training to control etherion. It’s from Guru Pathik from Avatar: the Last Airbender.
- While Gar’s away, Isaac launches a huge attack against the dojo, with the intention of luring Gar back and interrupting his training. He targets Sheena for maximum impact.
- As Gar is about to undertake the last stage of his training, he has a vision of the dojo being attacked and Sheena falling to her death like in his recurring dream. He abandons his training and flies back to the dojo, despite Pathik’s warning that if he leaves now, there’s no telling what would happen if he were to attempt to use etherion without finishing his training. He manages to save Sheena and Isaac orders his forces to retreat.
Yes, I realise the above scenario has been done to death and is a total rip-off, but we’ve already established that I have no originality. I never really decided on the exact lead-up to the final events, but basically… - Gar & Isaac meet in combat for the last time. Isaac has the upper hand for a long time, but Gar manages to somewhat even the odds.
- Isaac manages to get him on the ropes, but Gar keeps getting up, refusing to give in, prompting a disbelieving, very annoyed speech from Isaac who can’t understand why Gar keeps fighting.
- In a last ditch effort, Gar taps into etherion and unleashes its power. His desire to protect his friends and save the world gives him the power to control the power and a huge wave of energy is unleashed, covering the world & “healing” it (as it was in a pretty sorry state by this time thanks to Isaac), returning it to how it was. ILS is also resurrected and Isaac is pretty much disintegrated. But the power takes its toll on Gar, and he collapses before being absorbed into the Lifestream.
- In the Lifestream, he finds the remnants of Nero, his sister and his entire race. However, he decides he doesn’t belong with his people, and says goodbye.
- A few weeks later (time passing differently in the Lifestream to how it does in the RP world), Gar re-materialises in front of the dojo and re-unites with Sheena and the others. Fate appears and tells Gar that he’s not finished with him, and anything Gar does is futile, as his destiny has already been decided. Gar punches him and says he doesn’t care what Fate thinks, that he’ll shape his own destiny, and that Fate has no power to stop him. Fate leaves, pretty pissed off.
- As a final scene, Fate meets with Lana. If you’ve ever seen Matrix Revolutions, the basic idea is like the final scene between The Oracle and The Architect.
So there we are. It's finally over. Sorry it dragged on for so long...
