*facepalm* I thought it looked stupid too before I saw it but I'm glad that my one friend talked me into seeing it with him. It was one of the most fun and well made movies I've seen. |

The really over-the-top B-movies that couldn't be shown in regular theatres. Stuff with obscene amounts of blood, gore, sex and nudity, language, dark themes, bad acting and whatnot...
It's mostly just over-the-top, self-indulgent movies.
What Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez did was just remake the feel of those movies (complete with a double feature that Grindhouse cinema was most known for) and poke fun at them and generally have a good time. The movies are not to be taken seriously at all.

Ahh, okay. I might try it, I don't know. It's not my kind of movie. But then again I love laughing at B-movies. Like the Evil Dead Triology. |

It's a little too late to experience it. The movie was ruined when Death Proof and Planet Terror were announced to be released on DVD separately.
