Space Odyssey isn't much of a horror.
Hal only takes part in the movie for like 10 minutes! The monkeys are more important than him >.<

Anyway, horrors...
I'm trying to remember this puppet one that was one of Anthony Hopkins first movie roles.
Oh yeah! Magic, it was one of his first big roles, it's decent.
Too bad about the no anime thing, I know a few good horrors from anime.
Invasion Of The Body Snatchers (original)
The Haunting (original)
Halloween (original, not the new one that just came out)
The Omen
Dawn Of The Dead (original)
Evil Dead
28 Days Later
Psycho (the original)
The Monster
The Old Dark House
1408
There's a lot more, but that's all that come to mind right now.

Ugh, Saw.
The only good one was the first one. After that it went entirely downhill into generic slasher trash.
IMO.
You don't want to see 28 Days Later?

Saw 1 is good, but the later two are *throws up*

2 is O.K, but 1 and 3 are pretty good. But I'm just that kind of person. Saw 3 was my favorite, but Saw 1 is more universally liked. I'd watch that one before watching the other 2 (soon 3  Cheesy)

i didn't like the ending too much... all the zombie-apocalypse movies have bad endings... except for Shaun of the Dead, that was tight!
