It seems that some people in Minnesota are pushing an amendment to define marriage as one man one woman, however...it seems that public opinion is shifting in opposition to such things, and other bills that would recognize marriages from other states or replace marriages with civil unions entirely would likely see more support

Ugh. Two of my favorite states, and they're both trying to outlaw gay marriage.

But... if our leaders actually reflected the wants of the people... then we'd be a democracy, and that's just gross.
