effin' a, CV games are awesome.

SOTN is the best 2D game ever, IMO, but there's not many 2D ones I don't enjoy (the first GB one and the crappy Rondo of Blood "remake" for SNES). Even the 3D ones appeal to me, just not as much as the 2D ones.

He's playing IV on SNES, which is actually a remake of the original but Konami just felt like slapping the "IV" on it for some reason. >>

they did that a lot, the story of Castlevania is covered in four games (Vampire Killer, Castlevania, Super Castlevania IV, and Castlevania Chronicles).

It's not a remake, they just used the same story. The levels are totally different, so I don't know what you're talking about.
