The only renamed one I caught was Unit Patrol and it might have been the fact that I hadn't seen any Aqua Teens in awhile but I did dig it. Nothing quite on the level as the first few seasons but I remember a few episodes fondly.
As for the other renamed seasons, haven't seen them so nothing on that.

watching some dvr'd hunter x hunter marathon from some weeks back. kind of a cute little story with a wacky, weird world. maybe i'll follow it, especially since it's on crunchyroll and thus not a colossal pain in the ass to stream. it started on episode 2 as well, so it's not like i need to go through some dense backlog of episodes thankfully.
p.s. kurapika is pretty hot

I never watched the show but I quite enjoyed the manga, even the chapters where Togashi scribbled some stuff and called it a day. Would be kind of cool if it would end.
i guess the anime doesn't have either of those problems though so yeah stick with it

the dungeon system in FFXIV is pretty messed up in a lot of ways, namely in that DPS classes get a really shitty deal in the party-searching queue. like, you get put in a waiting list with like, 46-60 players, waiting for tank classes to join for what is usually like, 15-25 minutes. so i decided to start fitting anime in between each dungeon. today's anime was space patrol luluco, aka inferno cop 3.
Luluco has the exact same quality distribution as Inferno Cop, and it's kind of disturbing. Both shows quickly ratchet up the ridiculousness until the half-way point, at which point they hit a ceiling and level off until the ending. That was probably the biggest problem with Inferno Cop, where it just meandered after about episode 7 until the conclusion -- they stopped being ridiculous and funny, started playing up more deliberate, joke-y kind of humor that was drastically inferior to the situational humor prior, and just farted around for a bit. I kinda gave Inferno Cop a pass, but when Luluco runs into the exact same situation, that's kind of a problem.
Like, everyone has already said those crossover episodes blew, and well, they absolutely did. They were pretty much pointless and kinda undermined the ending by distracting the focus of the show from the characters in favor of going "oh hey, it's that creepy witch girl from Little Witch Academia that you love, she's in our show!" Still, Luluco's ending was pretty great, probably better than Inferno Cop's. It's absolutely adorable, both sweet and endearing, and it emphasizes themes (first love) that one wouldn't expect, and in a manner completely different than how many other anime actually approach them (it might be first love, but this is still a crazy-ass Trigger show). Think they'd do it a bit more justice without the pointless cameos in the mid section, but I still love the hell out of it. Gave the show a 7/10, definitely worth watching.

about 20 episodes into hunter x hunter now. show's concept is kinda interesting; generic shonen structure, but the fights are rarely about overpowering the enemy thus far or even defeating them by outwitting them. it's about smaller victories, like games of trickery. kinda neat, i guess. still gonna keep going

also, ATHF's rotation ended today. they're not showing the renamed seasons, so i guess whether or not those are actually good will remain a mystery

is it just me, or did they pick the dorkiest, least-fitting, least-talented voice actor for genos? holy crap, i haven't heard a character that horrifically miscast in a dub in a loooong time.
