claymore 105
Hoping for a Body Horror-tastic new power-up for Clare in the next chapter. Priscilla is in it for the long run, Clare probably has the method to weaponize the Raciela abomination, there isn't a single person around to pull a Big Damn Heroes if Clare loses the fight. This can only mean that Clare and Priscilla are about to fight for the final time, and hopefully that Clare is about to kill that ****. alsoalsoalso rafaela probably still exists as an entity which is awesome but thats just conjecture

Watched a few episodes of Hidamari Sketch. Oh man, I forgot who was behind this fansub until I read the credits and noticed that I knew half of the guys in there. Oh ****, this will be fun to watch.
Also read a few chapters of Mudazumo Naki Kaikaku: The Legend of Koizumi. Oh my **** god, I have no idea what to say.

World leaders deal with an international threat by playing Mahjong.
Think Akagi in execution, but more ridiculous.

The Legend of Koizumi, in an early chapter no less, switches from a battle between the team of Koizumi and Taro Aso against Kim Jong-Il to Koizumi hijacking a fighter plane to take down a missile.
It actually plays itself straight, avoiding the title of gag series, but absolutely everything is so intentionally ridiculous that it makes you laugh anyway. Yet because it plays itself straight, there are scenes that are actually really cool or really emotional, without **** up in narmtastic ways. It's pretty damn balanced despite how ridiculous it is.

Neither am I, but it's still depressing.
Here's something that should surprise you: Kamina's fanclub on MAL only has 400 users. He has 4000+ fans. >_>

(Claymore 106)
You know, categorization of characters by power has always been a guilty pleasure of mine. It's generally a bad idea; you get too many special cases, discrepancies in ability, the majority of the lower ranked being completely indistinguishable from each other. Still, for some ridiculous reason, I like it just because it's a cool base of comparison (horrifically flawed as it is) and it shows some form of progress when done well in the form of rank grinding, which is something I've always been fond of in video games like Armored Core.
Claymore trips over every sensitivity with this set-up. As soon as it is described, Clare at the **** bottom goes on to butcher one of the top 5 just because she has a new arm grafted on her, the other members lose their image and virtually everyone becomes indistinguishable in the long run, special cases have to added (Rafaela, Miata) to mix things up, etc. All of that happened an eternity ago. Now, we have Miria completely **** owning 3 and 5 (who were previously owned by Riful, but since she was supposed to godlike, that's more excusable) and then holding off the retarded successors to poor, dead Alicia and Beth, 1 and 2 respectively. Why should we have ever cared about it? Well, at least Claymore really doesn't care now.
Well, I guess 106 is a reprieve from Priscilla asserting how she's god tier and all, but there are too many plots opening up for something that has been going at a glacial rate in comparison to everything else since the end of the Northern campaign. This is also even more dull than the entire situation in the west, as at least the Destroyer is an interesting enough plot element to almost wash away the fail that comes from Priscilla. After so many ineffectual cliffhangers, Claymore has become difficult to care about as far as individual chapter releases are considered. Still, I'll probably spoil everything for myself if I wait several months to actually read a few chapters in succession, so I still need to care.
