Could Guts get anymore badass?

http://www.mangareader.net/96-1151-166/berserk/chapter-31.html

HELL. YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSS!!!

http://www.mangareader.net/96-1152-12/berserk/chapter-32.html

Oh god, this is the most awesome thing to happen since the Eclipse. Guts and Zodd, the two biggest badasses in Berserk, teaming up to fight Ganishka's incredibly powerful avatar. Holy ****.

You probably guessed right. The next page after that was also obvious.

Zodd is so awesome. He should appear more often.

http://www.mangareader.net/96-1152-45/berserk/chapter-32.html

I think that the greatest mystery of Berserk is how Silat has managed to survive this long.

- He attacked the Band of the Hawk prior to Griffith's rescue, and managed to slip off before Guts got around to killing him.
- He arrived at the Tower of Conviction during a three-way match between his forces, Guts and his company and Zodd.
- He was right on ground zero for the rebirth of the Band of the Hawk, featuring Locus, Irvine, Grunbeld and Zodd massacring the Kushan forces stationed in that area.
- He was discovered spying on Ganishka's process of creating demon soldiers while chasing after Rakshas.

This guy is pretty damn weak by Berserk's standards. How has he lived this long?

http://www.mangareader.net/96-1152-60/berserk/chapter-32.html
http://www.mangareader.net/96-1152-61/berserk/chapter-32.html

Irvine has opened up the battle between the main Kushan army and Griffith's force. I mean, just look at that accuracy.

http://www.mangareader.net/96-1152-74/berserk/chapter-32.html

Here's our main villain! Leading the charge against Ganishka's army.

http://www.mangareader.net/96-1152-78/berserk/chapter-32.html

Oh man, watching Locus kill things is always amusing.

http://www.mangareader.net/96-1152-94/berserk/chapter-32.html

FINAL BATTLE BETWEEN GANISHKA AND GRIFFITH

http://www.mangareader.net/96-1152-155/berserk/chapter-32.html

In retrospect, this makes Ganishka's defiance of Griffith's will look rather impressive. Pretty much everyone is willing to make Griffith into a divine figure; his charismatic aura from his time as a human has returned with his rebirth and has essentially has been multiplied by the power of itself. At this point, he attracts followers with more effectiveness than how a carrion attracts hornets and maggots. Even the ****ing pope has become deluded by Griffith's divine essence and has now sided with him. With that said, I think that, by this point, I'm now cheering for Ganishka instead of Griffith, even though both of them are evil incarnate.

http://www.mangareader.net/96-1152-166/berserk/chapter-32.html

AZAN

http://www.mangareader.net/96-1152-174/berserk/chapter-32.html

Farnese has come a long way since the days when she was that creepy girl masturbating to the mental image of a man burning.

http://www.mangareader.net/96-1153-19/berserk/chapter-33.html

We have reached the point where Guts' face is now more messed up than Ganishka's. Look at him; covered in scars and burns and perennially entombed in bandages. Even then, he's perfectly willing to do even more. Guts is the best protagonist ever, hands down.

This site is missing 8-9 chapters, so I'll stop here. I don't have the time or patience to search for more, so I'll wait until tonight to do that.

Every panel where Locus kills things like that, all I can think is "THAT'S NOT HOW LANCES **** WORK! ESPECIALLY NOT LANCES THAT GODDAMN LONG AND THIN!" It's absolutely maddening.

Also, burn scars can be pretty messy, man.

Let's just call that Apostle magic. Still, Locus' human shishkebobs are pretty ****ing lulzy anyway.

All of the chapters for Legend of Koizumi have been scanlated. Time to finish this.

Even Hitler quakes in fear before Koizumi badassery. I mean, holy ****, I didn't think it was possible for any character in this to become more badass than Papa Bush, but... Koizumi has done just that.

Hitler has been condemned to a fate worse than death; he gets to fight Roosevelt, Churchill and Stalin for the rest of eternity.

http://www.mangafox.com/manga/mudazumo_naki_kaikaku/v06/c049/14.html

KOIZUUMIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!

Legend of Koizumi has been completed. I enjoyed reading the body of it, but I was kinda of iffy on that. However, the ending was pure and unmitigated awesomeness. There's a bit of a sequel hook, so I'm hoping that we get a sequel entitled something like "The Legend of Bush."

Alright, it's a troll recommendation and it doesn't quite beat Lucky Star/Ninja Scroll, but still.

Welp, I get to be tethered to MangaShare and it's incredibly clunky format for the next 160 pages of Berserk, since every other site that has Berserk managed to be even worse. I think that it took me an hour to read chapter 4 (115 pages gogogo) just because this site is incredibly slow.

EDIT: Griffith has quite the capacity to attract people with significantly more virtue than himself. Everyone key character in the Band of the Hawk with the possible exception of Rakshas (who isn't really much of a member as much as a tagalong and does seem appalled by the state of affairs with the Kushan) is pretty decent by Berserk's standards.

EDIT: Even when she's sad, Sonia is just too cute.

EDIT: I find it hard to avoid cheering for allies of the Hawk. While Griffith as Femto is a complete monster extraordinaire, his deluded followers are so virtuous and try so hard that I can't help but want to see them journey safely. Of course, they're clinging onto the bootstraps of an evil deity whose entire existence revolves around ambition and possession.

EDIT: Hah. Even Silat gets his moment. Well said.

EDIT:

http://read.mangashare.com/Berserk/chapter-295/page012.html
http://read.mangashare.com/Berserk/chapter-295/page020.html

...woah.

EDIT: Holy shit is the only word for this. This thing is so massive that it crushes entire battalions with each step.

Huh, this reminds me of something.

...

...

Oh god. Oh god. My worst nightmares from my childhood have followed me into adulthood.

EDIT:

http://read.mangashare.com/Berserk/chapter-297/page009.html

Just... god damn.

EDIT: http://www.mangareader.net/96-1154-15/berserk/chapter-298.html

Anyone remember Zondark? What happened to him was the first creepy moment of Berserk. He looks serene in comparison to each of these individual beasts, but at this point, they don't look like anything. There is nothing intimidating or grotesque about these creatures, because at this moment, they're fighting Shiva.

http://www.mangareader.net/96-1155-7/berserk/chapter-299.html

Grunbeld looked mighty badass when he went into Apostle form as well, but he's like gnat at this moment

EDIT: Oh god, this is so badass. Apostle and human soldiers working together. Heh.

http://www.mangareader.net/96-1158-9/berserk/chapter-302.html

This is what is required.

EDIT: Ganishka is dead. His last moments were spent on an introspective look on his past. His transformation into Shiva basically destroyed his mind and sense of self, so I guess that this turns into a bit of a bookend by gaining his sense of self shortly before dying to Femto. The fact that he looked like ADR-07 made me think of more Digimon references, and Shiva reminds me of VenomMyotismon. Incredible power at the cost of the mental capacities to use it properly; however, it's still an incredible spectacle, so I wouldn't deride Shiva's role by making that comparison. With his death, we now have...

FEMTO VERSUS THE SKULL KNIGHT

EDIT:

http://www.mangareader.net/96-1160-10/berserk/chapter-304.html
http://www.mangareader.net/96-1161-8/berserk/chapter-305.html
http://www.mangareader.net/96-1161-14/berserk/chapter-305.html

The world has merged with the realm of fantasy and magic. Congrats, everyone; here's your new world. Here's your new hell.

http://www.mangareader.net/96-34049-4/berserk/chapter-307.html

...and Shiva has become the great tree of the world. Shiva is indeed a fitting name: the god that destroyed the old word and created the new one. Of course, our God was created by evil, as so was this new world. I guess that Ganishka really was the most important man of the old world.

END OF THE MILLENNIUM FALCON ARC

Captain Schierke!

First battle of the new world: Guts and crew vs Zombie Captain Sharkrider. Oh god, that is hilarious, I love this guy. He's like the new Adon. Oh, and he also has kraken monsters with him. He really is like Adon.

EDIT: Aww yeah, Guts is ready for battle!

EDIT: From the looks of things, the first boss of Fantasia is going to be Dagon. The party has arrived at Innsmouth, after all.

EDIT: Arthur mode!

EDIT: Of course, H.P. Lovecraft didn't count on the protagonist of this story being Guts.

Also, round 2 with Sharkrider. Except his boat is on land now. Oh, and it bleeds. ...I miss Adon.

EDIT: BOSS BATTLE WITH DAGON. Oh, and Captain Adonrider. Again.

I am now completely caught up with Berserk. 335 chapters; three times as many as Claymore.

Claymore 114:

This is actually kinda exciting, but it makes me sort of curious about something. It's time to return to the passing exposition on the entire international lore, the conditions of the mainland and this conflict that influenced the creation of Youma soldiers. If the Organization is about to be wiped out now, what will forge the link between the current plot and that plot? We're not exactly done with this setting; we still have the Destroyer versus Priscilla to witness before this could happen, and it seems that this is going to be delayed until after the Organization is gone. So, are we going to have a weaker transition to the mainland, or is it essentially a red herring in the costume of world building? Or perhaps it will happen at the very moment that the Organization goes down and the team will say: "Oh, we can't leave Clare behind!"

Obviously after the Destroyer has gone quiescent they pack it up and take it to the mainland for the war where all the Claymores and Priscilla follow.

What stake do they have in the mainland, though? This party isn't comprised of people who are going to waltz over to the mainland without a good reason, or without encouragement. The thing about the Organization is that they serve as the only reasonable link to the mainland; if they get erased without something happening to encourage the party to move out eventually, there is no plausible reason to move over there.

They're going to the mainland because they're going after the Destroyer/Clare and Priscilla, ofc.

Perhaps I should have been more clear. The remnants of The Organization will steal the Destroyer/Clare and everybody else will follow them to the mainland.
