Pretty much. Although they don't tend to have large followings, unlike Kate who completely eclipses every other aspect of Sketchbook for most Western "fans."

I have not finished an anime in a month: confirmed.

Each and every last one of you need a new hobby.

The last animu I finished was Azumanga Daioh last week. I started shortly before I made the Osaka account. I'm pretty sure that's almost 2 months.

I'm generally talking to Bizzle and UF, but you've watched so much crap that no matter how long it took for you to finish the last thing you watched, you're still a huge weeaboo.

Besides, Azumanga Daioh is the image of mediocrity. Anyone in their right mind would have trouble watching it.

That's part of the appeal; it's for people who can become burnt out on galaxy-manipulating loli-tentacle monsters.

Um, slice of life anime is easy to finish in a short period of time. Azumanga Daioh just sucks.

The problem with Azumanga Daioh is that it's so polarizing in quality, mainly because the characters are the same way. Half of the characters suck to varying degrees, and the other half are likable in again, varying degrees. Though the show insists on spread appearances of each character, and becomes particularly fond of the two worst offenders, those two female teachers. Who are extremely boring and completely unlikable.

Looking way too deep into it.

Looking way too deep into it.

...what.

what

Hating a character, and thus hating a show because a character is prominent is not looking too deep into it, bucko.

That above paragraph would suggest otherwise. I'd hazard to say that writing a paragraph about that show, saying anything, is looking to deep into it.

In other words, tl;dr?

Size < content. Simple content in a short message. Simple reason to dislike something.

I'm joking of course, since it's an Elfen Lied ripoff.

But hey, the mildly NSFW picture on the TVTropes page for it is sexy. >_>
