Making this now in anticipation of my Bloodborne playthrough which will start in the near future, and two people wanted me to comment on that in the way I did when I played DeS and DS1. The plan is to start once I finish up with Peace Walker and XCOM 2, and I'm close to an end of both.

Of course it probably would have been cool to have had this up to talk about playing through the rest of the MGS series, but I guess there's no time like the present.

I'll be getting MGSV at some point, too, so that will go in here, and everything that follows.

Dark Souls III. Uncharted 4. The Witcher at some point. I'll just try to remember to put thoughts in here.

I mean we talked about it a lot I think, but you can certainly pose questions. The games are pretty fresh on my mind.

I'm still liking Peace Walker a lot. It gave me a similar feeling to Snake Eater where I feel like I'm actually playing the game more than "experiencing" it. I saw the credits, but now I'm starting on Chapter 5 which takes place after those. I don't know how much more there is but if I really put my mind to it I'm guessing I could finish that this weekend.

Also I got in a Love Box with a teenage girl, so that checks the box of "Kojima is a perv" for this game.

You are not dead. Far from it, you are almost a fully fledged Psi Operative. You haven't been on a mission yet though because my other Psi Op stays healthy. I may give him a rest on my next mission though. Let you flex your mind a bit.

Youef is also on my squad as my backup medic.

I'll try to remember to grab screencaps of you two chuckleheads.

I'm taking my time finishing that game. I'm more or less at the stage of the campaign where I can just lay waste to whatever I'm up against. It feels good, but I should probably up the difficulty on my next playthrough, which will probably be this summer when the DLC comes out.

I don't really mind that Outer Ops are a thing in Peace Walker, but I wish my soldiers were a bit smarter. Always frustrating to see them grinding down a tank with SMGs, letting it kill two of them, and then finally someone pulls out a rocket and blasts the thing.

My helicopters keep getting shot down too.

Currently I'm playing an extended game of hide and seek with Steve Blum.

Also I just found and recruited Kojima. His bio says "70% of my existence is movies. It's up to you to decide what to make of the remaining 30%."

Got the true ending of Peace Walker. Really really fun game, just top to bottom honestly. And I could keep playing, too. I could keep going until I've got all S rank soldiers, capture all the armored units, perfect ZEKE's AI. I like that it's a game I can go back to and just pick up without having to play over again, honestly.

That said, this does clear the way for me to start Bloodborne, and I probably will do in the next few days.

I suspect you are correct. I admit a small part of me just wants to go out and buy that game tomorrow and start that instead. But I'll restrain myself for the time being.
